The beginning
Coming from a creative background and seeking a new challenge, a new adventure in the world of polystyrene began after a long initial phase.
In 2012, Paul Willems started Styropor Products from a small business premises in Nuth, South Limburg. His focus was on the production of high-quality polystyrene decorations and cake dummies, products that were rarely, if ever, available at the time.
The range of various shapes of decorations and cake dummies quickly grew into a respectable assortment, which now find their way to both businesses and individuals throughout Europe.
Soon, requests for polystyrene letters and logos came from stand builders, advertising, and signage companies. The selection grew daily, and more and more businesses and individuals found our website.
Polystyrene shapes found their way to well-known and lesser-known companies, used for TV and other presentation purposes.
The steady growth of small and large orders forced us to look for a larger location. In 2015, Styropor Products moved to a much larger production facility in Susteren to accommodate continued growth.
From our new location, we work flexibly and with a personal approach to understand our customers' needs and bring their designs to life.
We now produce the largest range of cake dummies in Europe and supply all kinds of shapes for construction, stand building, advertising, decoration, props, photography, theater, and television.
From 2026, the name will change to Styropor World, but the same familiar brand will remain.
Since its inception, Styropor World has built an enviable reputation.
Customers, both business and private, find their way to us throughout Europe. Professional to semi-professional cake decorators, hobbyists and hobby shops, wholesalers, window dressers, sign companies, stand builders, construction companies, and many more are supplied with Styrofoam products.
